NAHARALGUN, OCT 9: In a landmark medical achievement, a team of doctors at Tomo Riba Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (TRIHMS) has successfully treated a one-month-old baby girl suffering from Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) plus disease.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Led by Dr. Taw Anne Dipu, Assistant Professor, Department of Ophthalmology, and the state’s only Retina specialist, the team administered intravitreal anti-VEGF (vascular endothelial growth factor) injections under topical anesthesia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
