{"id":186,"date":"2022-05-10T16:58:00","date_gmt":"2022-05-10T16:58:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltoday.live\/?p=186"},"modified":"2022-05-11T16:59:47","modified_gmt":"2022-05-11T16:59:47","slug":"nscn-kya-faction-released-the-abducted-gb-of-lauksim-village","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltoday.live\/?p=186","title":{"rendered":"NSCN-KYA faction released the abducted GB of \u00a0Lauksim village"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>KANUBARI, May 10:<\/strong>&nbsp;After almost three days, and continuous effort of local villagers, Longding Police, and Assam Rifles today militant group NSCN-KYA faction released the abducted GB of &nbsp;Lauksim village Napho Boham.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Boham was abducted at the midnight on May 7 last by a group of the suspected NSCN-KYA faction cadre led by its self-styled corporal Wanglem Wangsu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe GB along with a few of the villagers who had gone to Lokkun village in Nagaland for the negotiation process reached New Banfera village under Kanubari Subdivision of Longding district at around 5pm today,\u201d informed DySP Longding, Bangjang Tangzang. He said that the release was the result of constant pressure by the police under the supervision of SP,Longding as well as the villagers and Assam Rifle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The GB is reportedly in sound health and doing good. \u201cThe GB told us that the militants did not do anything to him but to make sure we have sent him for medical examination,\u201d the DySP stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He also informed that the militant groups were asking \u2018house tax amounting to Rs 4.5 lakh from the GB and still put a condition to pay the tax.&nbsp; Police will register a case, after receiving of a formal complaint from the family member, he added.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KANUBARI, May 10:&nbsp;After almost three days, and continuous effort of local villagers, Longding Police, and Assam Rifles today militant group NSCN-KYA faction released the abducted GB of &nbsp;Lauksim village Napho Boham.
