The case, involving the supply and sale of cannabis in commercial quantities, is being hailed as a major success for the Capital Police under the ongoing anti-drug initiative, <em>Operation Dawn<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As per the court\u2019s judgment, Yowa Yare and Banti Singh have been sentenced to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment for their role in supplying cannabis in commercial quantities. Meanwhile, Nguri Yayi and Charu Mala have each received 5 years of rigorous imprisonment for selling the contraband.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The convictions were the result of a meticulous and effective investigation carried out by Inspector Neeraj Nishant, Officer-in-Charge of Police Station Chimpu.
