Bana, May 31, 2025: In a heart-wrenching tragedy, seven members of two families lost their lives in a fatal car accident caused by a landslide last night along the Bana to Seppa stretch of NH-413, approximately 4 kilometers from Bana. The accident occurred around 8 p.m. and involved a Maruti Fronx vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The victims hailed from Kitchang village (Kadeya) and were traveling together when their vehicle was struck by a massive landslide triggered by continuous rainfall in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The deceased have been identified as, Shri Saju Badi (32) \u2013 Car owner and driver<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Smti Thosum Badi (27) \u2013 Wife of Saju Badi<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Master Nicha Badi (4) \u2013 Son of Saju and Thosum Badi<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kumari Kachum Badi (7) \u2013 Daughter of Saju and Thosum Badi<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Smti Jawum Yame (32) \u2013 Nine months pregnant, wife of Shri Sichi Yame<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Master Matia Yame (7) \u2013 Son of Jawum and Sichi Yame<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kumari Tosum Yame (10) \u2013 Daughter of Jawum and Sichi Yame<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Local authorities have been informed, and recovery efforts are underway. The incident has cast a pall of gloom over the region, and the local administration has urged residents to exercise caution during the ongoing monsoon season<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Home Minister Mama Natung, who also represents the area, expressed deep sorrow over the incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
