{"id":3901,"date":"2025-10-08T02:50:00","date_gmt":"2025-10-08T02:50:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltoday.live\/?p=3901"},"modified":"2025-10-09T02:57:32","modified_gmt":"2025-10-09T02:57:32","slug":"pbg-aedma-express-gratitude-to-state-government-for-new-media-advertisement-policy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltoday.live\/?p=3901","title":{"rendered":"APBG &#038; AEDMA Express Gratitude to State Government for New Media Advertisement Policy"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>ITANAGAR, Oct 8: The Arunachal Publishers and Broadcasters Guild (APBG) and the Arunachal Electronic and Digital Media Association (AEDMA) have jointly expressed their profound appreciation and heartfelt gratitude to the State Government led by Chief Minister Pema Khandu, Minister for IPR Shri Nyato Dukam, Secretary IPR, and the entire team of the IPR Department for the formulation and adoption of the landmark \u201cArunachal Pradesh Print &amp; Digital Media Advertisement Policy, 2025.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The media bodies also lauded the government for its visionary decision to enhance advertisement rates for print media, as well as a new Policy for digital media, a move that directly responds to the memorandum earlier submitted by APBG and AEDMA on various occasions, and reflects the government\u2019s commitment to supporting and sustaining the state\u2019s media industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The newly approved policy introduces a unified, transparent, and efficient framework for government advertisements, replacing the earlier 2018 and 2020 policies. They further stated that the government\u2019s responsiveness to the concerns and suggestions of the media fraternity marks a significant milestone in government\u2013media collaboration in Arunachal Pradesh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a separate press statement, the Arunachal Press Club (APC) and Arunachal Pradesh Union of Working Journalists (APUWJ) have lauded the state government for approving the Arunachal Pradesh Print &amp; Digital Media Advertisement Policy, 2025, calling it a progressive reform that strengthens transparency, accountability, and sustainability in government advertisement distribution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Approved during the recent \u2018Cabinet Aapke Dwar\u2019 meeting at Miao, the new policy replaces the 2018 and 2020 frameworks and for the first time brings both print and digital media under a single, unified structure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It establishes a centralized system through the Directorate of Information &amp; Public Relations (DIPR), ensuring transparent routing of all government advertisements and standardized rates for fair and efficient fund utilization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a joint statement, the APC and APUWJ described the policy as \u201ca significant milestone in the evolution of the state\u2019s media ecosystem,\u201d adding that it reflects the government\u2019s commitment to empowering local media houses and journalists who play a vital role in public awareness and democratic accountability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis unified policy provides a level playing field to both traditional and emerging digital media platforms in Arunachal Pradesh.
