He said the facility will serve as both a cultural hub and a support space for students, patients, and visitors from remote parts of the State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe Mishmi Cultural Heritage Centre is a landmark initiative that reflects the community\u2019s commitment to preserving its traditions while serving society,\u201d Mein said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-style-default\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"700\" height=\"466\" src=\"https:\/\/arunachaltoday.live\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/WhatsApp-Image-2025-10-16-at-5.37.24-PM.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3961\" srcset=\"https:\/\/arunachaltoday.live\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/WhatsApp-Image-2025-10-16-at-5.37.24-PM.jpeg 700w, https:\/\/arunachaltoday.live\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/WhatsApp-Image-2025-10-16-at-5.37.24-PM-300x200.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/arunachaltoday.live\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/WhatsApp-Image-2025-10-16-at-5.37.24-PM-600x400.jpeg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>He expressed gratitude to the local community for donating land to the Mishmi Welfare Society, calling it a generous contribution that made the establishment of such vital cultural and welfare infrastructure possible. He noted that the newly inaugurated hostel would greatly benefit students and patients visiting Itanagar for education or medical treatment, especially those with limited financial means.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Addressing the youth, the Deputy Chief Minister urged them to stay disciplined, pursue education and competitive examinations, and contribute actively to the State\u2019s progress rather than misusing gatherings or opportunities. He encouraged them to take part in economic activities under the Krishi Yojana and Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Yojana, and to work towards self-reliance instead of relying solely on government employment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a><\/a>Highlighting the State\u2019s vision for economic growth, Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein said that, just as hydropower has driven development in other states, Arunachal Pradesh too will achieve progress through tourism and hydropower. He stated that the Government is prioritising infrastructure development to enhance connectivity and promote tourism across the State, including the development of the Eastern Tourism Circuit, which will showcase the region\u2019s unique cultural and natural heritage.
