MIAO,Apr 21: In a positive step towards motivating NCC cadets for a career in the Indian Army, ‘A Day With Indian Army’ programme has been organized by 57 Mountain Division of the Indian Army at Miao ,Changlang district today.
A total of 50 students (23 Boys and 27 Girls) attended the said event. The event started with a morning physical training exercise filled with obstacles, followed by basics of firing practice, career orientation on the Indian Army, Troop games to build cohesion & team building, an inspiring movie on the Indian Army and ended with Star Gazing
Meanwhile, an interactive event was planned meticulously to identify the potential candidates for the NDA and NCC special entry examinations and train them to join the Indian Army. The gesture was appreciated by the students and school faculty and the civil administration & proved to be a step towards building better relations with the locals promoting goodwill and trust, stated a release.
