AALO, Apr 21: The Block health Mela was Organized by District Health society of West Siang District at Angu Village 25 km from district Hq. The Block Health Mela was inaugurated by Adv. Gekar Angu, ZPM, 2A Pushi in presence of Dr. Tomar Kamki DMO i/c cum DFWO, Dr. Gerik Jini, Dr. Tojo Angu MO i/c PHC Bagra, Dr. Neeta Mangpan Medicine Specialist, Dr. Kirpi Ori Kamki ,MO. Dr. Taidong MO, PRI Members and Gaon Boras of Angu village.
More than 186 patients benefited from the camp.The health camp was focused on on general health checkup, diabetes screening, hypertension, Cataract screening and Registration of CMAAY/PMJAYand free medicines was distributed to all the patients and basic blood test were conducted in the camp. The health camp was concentrated on the promotion and prevention aspects of common illness as well as health awareness on the common diseases and family planning. During the health camp, doctors advised the people of Angu village to be very careful during the summer season.(DIPRO)
