NARI, Aug 9: The Nari Enhancement Program, guided by Shri Ainstein Koyu, ADC Nari, and led by Miss Tage Asha, CO Nari, with the support of Shri Tojir Kadu, Hon’ble MLA 36-Nari Koyu, has significantly scaled up its plantation and beautification efforts across Nari Circle.
Over 500 saplings were planted in the township in the presence of Smt. Junaki Kaye, ZPM Nari, alongside similar drives in Nari, Namey, and Lumpo villages.
At the village level, Gaon Burahs and Village Welfare Societies have taken the lead in organising plantation and cleanliness initiatives. The program has also installed direction boards and organised an exposure visit to Siluk for community members to learn best practices in community-led beautification.
Funded entirely through voluntary contributions from Nari–Koyu officers, the initiative represents a heartfelt commitment by officers to give back to the community they serve. It has united residents and officials alike in a shared mission for a greener, more vibrant Nari.
The program’s next phase will continue with expanded activities and is envisioned as a model to be replicated in other parts of the subdivision.(DIPRO)
