NAHARALGUN, OCT 9: In a landmark medical achievement, a team of doctors at Tomo Riba Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (TRIHMS) has successfully treated a one-month-old baby girl suffering from Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) plus disease.
Led by Dr. Taw Anne Dipu, Assistant Professor, Department of Ophthalmology, and the state’s only Retina specialist, the team administered intravitreal anti-VEGF (vascular endothelial growth factor) injections under topical anesthesia.
This pioneering procedure marks the first time this treatment has been performed in Arunachal Pradesh.Medical Team; includes
