Naharlagun, November 14, 2024: In a meaningful celebration of Children’s Day, the Naharlagun Police, in partnership with St. Thomas Residential School, organized an awareness campaign in Naharlagun Market to promote child rights and raise awareness against child labor.
The event featured interactive sessions where police officers emphasized the importance of education as a fundamental right and a tool for empowerment. They shed light on the detrimental effects of child labor and encouraged students to be proactive in recognizing and addressing instances of exploitation in their communities.
SP Naharlagun, Shri Mihin Gambo, expressed the significance of the initiative, stating, “This campaign is not only about educating children on their rights but also about fostering a collective commitment to creating a society free from child labor.
