CHANDIMANDIR MILITARY STATION, Nov 13:  A 10-day National Integration Tour organized by the Indian Army for students from Palizi in East Kameng and the Rest of Arunachal Pradesh (RALP) concluded today, marking a significant step in fostering national unity and cultural appreciation among young citizens. This initiative, held under the Indian Army’s Operation Sadbhavan, offered a unique educational experience designed to broaden students’ understanding of India’s diversity and heritage.

The tour brought together 20 students and two teachers who journeyed through Delhi and Chandigarh, visiting historic and cultural landmarks that highlight India’s rich legacy. Key sites included the Western Command Heritage Museum, where students gained insights into India’s military history, and prominent attractions in Chandigarh such as the Mahendra Pratap Zoological Park, Rock Garden, and Sukhna Lake.

In a special interaction, Lt Gen Manoj Kumar Katiyar, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Western Command, met with the students, sharing stories from his time in Arunachal Pradesh and encouraging them to be active contributors to nation-building. His words resonated deeply, inspiring the students to embrace unity and service to the nation.

This National Integration Tour reflects the Indian Army’s unwavering commitment to fostering harmony and understanding across India, ensuring that young citizens from diverse regions have the opportunity to connect with the nation’s shared identity. Through Operation Sadbhavan, the Indian Army continues to promote the spirit of national integration and unity, stated a release.
