YACHULI, Feb 28: In a significant step towards ease of doing business and digital governance, Shweta Nagarkoti Mehta, IAS, Deputy Commissioner of Keyi Panyor District, handed over the first trade license issued via the online single-window EODB (Ease of Doing Business) portal to local entrepreneur Shri Khoda Bath (M/S Passa Valley Restro) in a small ceremony held on Friday.
The event was attended by Shri Tai Arun, Trade Development Officer, Miss Sylvia Koyu, Circle Officer-cum-DIPRO in-charge, and officials from the Department of Trade & Commerce, marking a milestone in the district’s efforts to streamline business registration and licensing.
The introduction of the EODB portal is expected to bring convenience and efficiency to the business community of Keyi Panyor District. Entrepreneurs can now apply for new trade licenses from their homes using computers or mobile phones by logging into www.eodb.arunachal.gov.in, eliminating the need to visit the DC office in Yachuli.

Additionally, renewal of trade licenses previously issued offline can also be processed via the portal. Applicants must first register and apply for a one-time renewal for physical applications (Backlog) before transitioning fully to the digital system.
For any trade license-related assistance, the Department of Trade & Commerce remains open to the public, with trained officials ensuring seamless and efficient service delivery through the online single-window system.
