Former Student Leader joins state lone regional political party PPA

ITANAGAR, Oct 15 : Marli Kamki, one of the visible faces in the students’ movement of Arunachal Pradesh, joined the lone regional political party- People’s Party of Arunachal (PPA) in presence of its President Kafha Bengia, Secretary General Kaling Jerang and other leaders at the Party Headquarters located in Itanagar. Consequent upon his joining, he has been appointed as a General Secretary in the Party’s State Executive Body.

Having properly analysed the various political parties and their workings, their philosophy and ideals, I found the People’s Party of Arunachal (PPA) to be the most suited for the overall growth and development of the people and our state, stated Kamki. The party since its inception has been working tirelessly for the people of Arunachal Pradesh and has been fighting for the State’s due rights. Even today, the party under the dynamic leadership of its President Kahfa Bengia and intellectual guidance of its Secretary General Kaling Jerang has been staying true to its ideals. It is their leadership which has inspired me to join the party, he added. Calling on the people to join and strengthen the Party, he added that it is time that people especially youngsters and intellectuals cutting across socio-political and religious divide join the people’s movement under the banner of PPA.

Originally hailing from Dego Kamki Village under Kamba Circle of West Siang District, Marli Kamki has been a former students leader having previously served in the All Arunachal Pradesh Students’Union (AAPSU) and the Galo Students ‘ Union (GSU) in various capacities.
