BOMDILA, March 4: Government College Bomdila has been chosen by the Ministry of Youth Affairs, Government of India, as one of the Nodal Institutions for hosting the District Level Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament-2025. This prestigious event will cover the three districts of Tawang, East Kameng, and West Kameng.
The Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament aligns with the vision set forth by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in 2017, calling for the emergence of one lakh young leaders to propel India’s progress. This year’s edition has been reimagined and expanded to support the Viksit Bharat@2047 vision, aiming to nurture dynamic, solution-oriented, and policy-aware youth leaders.
The event follows a multi-tiered structure, starting from the district level and advancing to the state and national levels. Young individuals aged 18 to 25 years (as of February 1, 2025) are encouraged to participate, providing them with a platform to deliberate on key national issues, interact with policymakers, and contribute to India’s developmental journey.
How to Participate
Interested participants must register on the Mera Yuva (MY) Bharat portal and apply through the designated link.
They must also submit a one-minute video on the topic: “What does Viksit Bharat mean to you?”
Around 150 participants from the three districts will be shortlisted based on their video submissions.
District-Level Event
The District-Level Youth Parliament will be held offline on March 16-17, 2025, at Government College Bomdila on the topic:
“One Nation, One Election: Paving the Way for Viksit Bharat.”
A panel of five esteemed jury members will evaluate the participants, selecting the top 10 to advance to the State Assembly round in Itanagar.
Path to the Grand Finale
The top 3 finalists from Arunachal Pradesh will represent the state at the national-level Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament in New Delhi.
