ISSE Teacher and Public Leader Step Up to Bridge Textbook Shortage in Namtok Cluster Schools

CHANGLANG, Aug 5: In a heartwarming display of dedication and community spirit, Mrs. Chandrakala Das Hosai, a Primary Teacher (PRT) under Samagra Shiksha/ISSE, has donated 40 sets of Class 3 textbooks to seven schools under the Namtok Cluster in Changlang District.

Posted at Government Primary School, Longpha, Mrs. Hosai took the personal initiative to arrange and distribute the newly introduced Class 3 textbooks, recognizing the urgent need and disruption caused by the delay in official supply of the revised syllabus books this academic year. Her selfless contribution has brought immense relief to students and educators alike, ensuring learning continues uninterrupted.

The beneficiary schools include: GPS Longpha,GPS Kuthung,GPS Hassang,GPS Garaline,GPS Ranchiline, GPS Ngoitong, GPS Phangsum

In a similar act of community-driven support, Sh. Rangreh Ronrang, a well-known public leader from Manmao, also donated essential textbooks to GHSS Manmao on the same day. With several textbooks out of stock, his voluntary contribution played a pivotal role in reducing the shortage and supporting the academic needs of students.

The Department of Education expressed sincere gratitude to both Mrs. Hosai and Sh. Ronrang for their timely intervention and commitment to the cause of education. Their contributions stand as shining examples of how community participation can uplift and empower the future generation.
