AALO,Aug 9: An awareness programme under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA) was organised today at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) Kombo, under the guidance of the Nodal Officer, NMBA, West Siang District, Aalo.
The initiative aimed to sensitise students about the harmful effects of drug abuse and to promote a healthy, addiction-free lifestyle. Interactive sessions were conducted, shedding light on the physical, psychological, and social consequences of substance abuse, along with preventive measures and the support systems available for those in need.
Students and staff actively participated in the discussions, sharing their perspectives on building a drug-free community. A pledge to abstain from drugs and work towards creating a safe, healthy society was administered to all participants, marking a strong commitment to the cause.
