LIKABALI, Aug 22: The renovated and extended office building of the Rural Works Department (RWD), Likabali, was formally inaugurated today by Shri Rujjum Rakshap, Deputy Commissioner, Lower Siang District.
The inauguration ceremony witnessed the presence of Shri Gothambu Dajangju, Superintendent of Police, Lower Siang, officers, staff members, and members of the public.
Speaking on the occasion, DC Rujjum Rakshap stressed that it is not the length of service but the impact of work done for the people that truly matters. He praised Er. Gingso Don, Executive Engineer, for successfully completing the renovation and extension project by optimally utilizing existing resources without any additional funding. The DC hailed the initiative as an inspiring example of resource management and highlighted the need for robust institutional infrastructure to enhance efficiency and public service delivery.
SP Gothambu Dajangju, in his address, lauded the timely completion of the project and urged all government departments to work with sincerity, discipline, and dedication to accelerate the development of Lower Siang District.
The project was executed under the supervision of Er. Gingso Don, Executive Engineer, RWD Division, Likabali.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, followed by a collective pledge to strengthen developmental efforts for the welfare of the district.(DIPRO)
