ITANAGAR, Sept 2: A workshop on Stress Management in the Workplace was organized at Directorate of Printing and Stationary, Naharlagun today with the objective of creating awareness among employees about maintaining a healthy balance between professional responsibilities and personal well-being. The session brought together office staff, administrators, and resource persons specializing in mental health and productivity enhancement.

The resource persons Dr. Dharmeshwari Lourembam and Dr. Leeyir Ete provided insightful and practical guidance to all participants. During the programme, the experts highlighted that workplace stress is one of the leading factors affecting efficiency, job satisfaction, and overall mental health.
They emphasized practical techniques such as time management, mindfulness exercises, prioritization of tasks, and effective communication as key tools to handle work pressure.
Resource persons also encouraged the employees to adopt a healthy lifestyle, including regular physical activity, balanced diet, and sufficient rest, as these are critical in reducing stress levels. Interactive sessions were held where participants shared their own challenges and learned strategies to overcome anxiety and burnout.

The session not only enhanced awareness but also provided effective approaches to managing stress in professional life.

The programme was attended by IPR and Printing Secretary Nyali Ete, both the Deputy Directors of the Departments Marbang Ezing and Hari Maring , the officers and officials of both departments.
