Keyi Panyor Police Transform School Infrastructure Under Civic Action Programme

Yachuli, Sept 3: In a remarkable gesture of community service, the Keyi Panyor District Police, led by Superintendent of Police Shri Angad Mehta (IPS), have undertaken a major revamp of the Government Residential School, Lichlith, under the Civic Action Programme.

As part of the initiative, 25 high-quality ceiling fans were installed and the entire worn-out electrical system of the school was repaired, ensuring a safer and more comfortable learning environment for students.

The intervention came after SP Angad Mehta’s visit to the school, where he identified critical gaps in basic facilities such as fans, lights, and wiring. Impressed by the school’s consistent record of academic excellence, he pledged immediate support to improve conditions for both students and teachers.

The newly installed facilities were formally handed over by Inspector Tabong Pasar and SI Gonya Chisi to Headmistress Smti Pinky Gajmer Likha, in the presence of the police team, school staff, and enthusiastic students.

This initiative not only addresses pressing infrastructural needs but also underscores the police department’s broader commitment to community development and building stronger bonds of trust between law enforcement and the public.
