BOMDILA, Mar 4: Major General Gagandeep, ADG, NCC Directorate, NER visited Government College Bomdila and interacted with the Principal, faculty members, CTOs & Cadets of the NCC Unit of the college. The NCC Unit welcomed the ADG with a guard of honour. The ADG urged upon the cadets to be disciplined in all walks of life, and reiterated to be career-oriented and goal achievers.
He also encouraged the girl cadets to participate in the various camps and activities organised under the banner of NCC, and said that girls are the potential human resource who can contribute much in nation building. He expressed that NCC, as an elective subject, should be introduced in the curriculum for the greater benefit of the students. He also gave away prizes to the meritorious Cadets and congratulated the College NCC Unit for its remarkable performance. Col Mridul Mittal, CO, 2 AP bn NCC Tawang and Dr. Tashi Phuntso, Principal, Government College Bomdila also spoke on the occasion. Dr Vineeta Dowerah, Associate Professor & CTO(SW) presented a report on the NCC activities conducted by the college Unit during the year -2022. Dr Alok Kumar Singh, CTO (SD) tendered the vote of thanks.
