ITANAGAR, 1 Feb 2024: Ashok Singhal Minister, Govt. of Assam and Election In-Charge for Arunachal Pradesh was welcomed by State President Biyuram Wahge and team. Ashok Singhal has visited Arunachal Pradesh for the first time after he was assigned as Election In-Charges. Singhal holds a series of meetings with District In-charges, Lok Sabha constituency prabharies and conveners, and the State Election Management Committee at BJP HQ on Thursday.
Ashok Singhal was accompanied by State President Biyuram Wahge, State General Secretaries Zingnu Namchoom MLA, Nalong Mize, and Tadar Niglar and interacted for the first time with all the different committees of election management. Singhal also holds a meeting with state Office bearers, Morchas head, and Core group members at the State Guest House.
He highlighted the detail to every committee about the work for the ensuing election 2024 in the state. He requested all the team members to coordinate with each other and draw a plan for further finalization of the programme. He said that he would hold a separate meeting with every committee shortly.
Singhal pointed out that the responsibility of the election management committee is to manage the activities from the state level to the booth level programme during the upcoming election. He sought cooperation from the election management committee for the next 75 days till the completion of the election in the state. Whatever problems faced by the management committee shall be addressed and assured his full support and cooperation for smooth function, he added.
The meeting of the state election management committee was also attended by vice-Presidents Tarh Tarak in charge of the western parliamentary constituency, Nani Lajie in charge of Vehicles etc, Tagin Siga in charge of Booth work, Junty Singphoo, in charge of legal matters and election commission, Yalam Taga Burang In-charge Special sampar k, State Secretaries Tiring Tiri In-charge publicity material, Ashok Sangchiju In-Charge Social sampark, Toko Yapa In-Charge Ad campaign, Dalong Tako Media incharge, Nima Sange Co-Convener, Media Department as In-charge Media relation besides members of various election management committee. They also share their views during the interaction meeting with Ashok Singhal, Election In-Charge of Arunachal Pradesh during the day-long programme.
