ITANAGAR, Apr 14: All Arunachal Pradesh Abotani Students’ Union (AAPATSU) has urged the Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein to Immediately cancel the Non-APST elected representatives like ZPC, GPC, GPMs , Gaon Burahs of 48-Lekang ST constituency within 20 days.
Addressing the press conference, President AAPATSU Langpu Apon Maru informed that, the union has submitted its representation to the DCM on dated 24th March 2022 seeking his intervention on the cancellation of Non-APST elected representatives like ZPC, GPC, GPMs, Gaon Burahs of 48-Lekang ST constituency.
AAPATSU has strongly urged and sought the intervention of the government for immediate response and necessary action for permanent resolution on the long-pending ST and PRC issue of 6 tribes of 48-Lekang ST Assembly Constituency, stated President.
We have submitted the representation to the DCM as he was the representative of the Lekang constituency for more than 25 years, so instead of keeping it pending for such a long period we extensively appealed to the DCM to redress the present long-pending burning issues of 6 tribes viz-a-, viz Deoris, Morons, Ahoms, Kachods and Adivasis etc without any further delay,he stated
