Keyi Panyor Celebrates First Republic Day with Grandeur & Unity

YACHULI, Jan  26: The newly designated district of Keyi Panyor celebrated its first-ever Republic Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor, marking a historic milestone for the region. The event brought together government officials, public representatives, and citizens, reflecting a shared spirit of unity and commitment to the district’s progress.

Deputy Commissioner Shweta Nagarkoti Mehta, IAS, served as the Chief Guest, joined by SP Angad Mehta, IPS, ZPM Joram Elyu, and other dignitaries. DC Mehta, in her address, highlighted the significance of the Indian Constitution and the essence of Republic Day as a celebration of rights, duties, and the democratic ethos. She made a heartfelt appeal to the youth and girl children to actively participate in the district’s development, urging them to utilize government schemes and opportunities for meaningful contributions.

The celebration featured vibrant cultural performances and parades by students from all schools in the district, showcasing their energy and national pride. The Best Stall Award was presented to the Self-Help Group Stall by ArSRLM, while Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) was recognized as the runner-up for promoting agricultural innovation. Commendation certificates were also awarded to outstanding government employees.

The day concluded with fun competitions among government departments and PRI members, fostering camaraderie and teamwork. The event underscored the district’s unity, pride, and vision for a prosperous future under the dynamic leadership of DC Mehta.
