NAMSAI, Feb 11: In a remarkable initiative aimed at strengthening national integration and providing transformative exposure to students from Arunachal Pradesh, Assam Rifles officially flagged off a 13-day National Integration Tour from the iconic Golden Pagoda in Namsai district.

The event was graced by Deputy Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh Chowna Mein, along with distinguished dignitaries including Zingnu Namchoom,Member of Legislative Assembly Namsai , Commander of Headquarters 25 Sector Assam Rifles, the Commandant of 11 Assam Rifles, Deputy Commissioner Namsai, Superintendent of Police Namsai, and D S Hernwal, Vice Chancellor of Arunachal University of Studies.
This momentous occasion marked the beginning of a life-changing journey for 30 girl students and two faculty members from the Arunachal University of Studies, Namsai. The tour is designed to offer them an exceptional opportunity to explore and experience the rich cultural and historical heritage of India, enhancing their understanding of the nation’s diversity.

Carefully curated to ensure a broad representation of Arunachal Pradesh’s districts, the tour aims to provide a platform for empowerment and education, particularly for young women. It serves as a testament to girl empowerment, giving the students a chance to embrace new opportunities, build confidence, and expand their horizons.

The program is designed to take participants on an enriching journey through multiple destinations including Jorhat, Guwahati, Shillong, Kolkata, Dimapur, and Kohima, concluding on February 22.
