Kanubari, March 7, 2025: The Longhua, Mopakhat, and Sangsatham Students’ Union (LMSSU) organized a voluntary donation drive at Kanubari traffic point (Pachali) to support Shri Jenai Joham, who was critically injured in an accident on March 5.
Jenai, son of Tingjam Joham, was admitted to Aditya Hospital in Dibrugarh, Assam, with severe injuries, including fractures in his right leg and jaw. Doctors advised immediate surgery, but financial constraints posed a significant challenge for his family.
In response, LMSSU launched an emergency donation drive, which witnessed overwhelming community support. A total of ₹57,890 was raised and handed over to the family to assist with medical expenses.
Expressing gratitude, LMSSU thanked all contributors for their generosity, emphasizing the importance of unity in times of crisis. The successful initiative highlighted the community’s strong spirit of solidarity and compassion.
