HAYULIANG, March 18: Women and Child Development Minister Dasanglu Pul on Tuesday inaugurated the Special Vaccination Campaign 3.0 at the KPMDH Conference Hall in Swami Camp, Hayuliang. The initiative aims to enhance immunization coverage and ensure better healthcare for children in the region.
The campaign focuses on improving Td10 and Td16 vaccine coverage, achieving 95 percent immunization for Measles-Rubella (MR1 and MR2), ensuring all eligible children between six weeks and one year receive the Pentavalent-1 vaccine, and eliminating zero-dose children.
Speaking at the event, Minister Pul reaffirmed the government’s commitment to a healthier future, emphasizing the importance of widespread immunization to protect children from preventable diseases. She urged local authorities to work diligently to ensure the campaign’s success.

In addition to the vaccination drive, Pul announced the adoption of three tuberculosis (TB) patients as part of the government’s initiative to eradicate the disease. She assured that the adopted patients would receive the necessary care and support, highlighting the importance of collective efforts in achieving a TB-free society.
The launch event was attended by Anjaw Superintendent of Police Riki Kamsi, Hayuliang Circle Officer Nyalen Hakom, Anjaw BJP President Bakhetso Tawsik, and other officials, who expressed their support for the campaign and pledged to contribute towards its success.
