ANSU submits memorandum to Chief Minister on APPSC Cash for Job Scam

ITANAGAR, Dec 5 : Following the mass referendum rally held on December 3 last, today team of  All Nyishi Students Union (ANSU) led by its President  Nabam Dodum has submitted the 13 points memorandum to Chief Minister Pema Khandu on APPSC Cash for Job Scam.

Speaking to the media, Dodum informed that today we have officially submitted the memorandum for early redressal of the grievances of the aggrieved aspirants. Though the state government is doing the investigation but it’s not upto the expectation of aspirants or the students’ community, so we urged the state government to take immediate action.

The mass referendum rally of December 3 last was proof that how students’ fraternity are in frustration due to corruption practices prevailing in the society. This mass referendum rally is an eye opener for the state government, if this time government failed to take any stringent action then it will be the last nail in the coffin for the state government’ asserted  Dodum.

ANSU President also stated that the students’ community are maintaining patience for the last three months, simply handing over the case to SIC & CBI is not enough, No one wants another PRC issue. The CMO should not make only Taket Jerang and other officials as scapegoats, there should be a deep inquiry from top to bottom, added Dodum. 

Earlier, responding to the query of media on the arrest of the former Chairperson of APPSC Nipo Nabam, Chief Minister Pema Khandu said ‘ have patience, if there is evidence everyone involved in APPSC Job scam will be arrested. Only an allegation against any person would not be sufficient. Moreover, SIC and CBI are investigating the whole scam and in the meantime, Law will take its own course of action, stated CM.
