Arunachal’s 10-year-old Karate Prodigy Bompu Karlo Strikes Gold Twice at JSKA Japan Championship

JAPAN, Nov 3: In a remarkable display of talent and discipline, 10-year-old Bompu Karlo from Takso village, Gensi circle, Lower Siang district, Arunachal Pradesh, has brought immense pride to India and the Northeast by winning two gold medals at the ongoing Japan Shotokan Karate Association (JSKA) International Championship in Japan.

Bompu clinched Gold in Individual Kata and another Gold in Kihonipon Kumite, showcasing exceptional skill and composure on the global stage. She is representing India and the North East region in the prestigious event, where top young karatekas from across the world are competing.

Daughter of Er. Pekmar Karlo, currently serving as Chief Engineer (Civil), ONGC Avani Bhawan, Ahmedabad, and Mrs. Junjun Padu Karlo, Bompu a student of Class 5 at Asian Global School, Ahmedabad,is just 10 years and 11 months old, yet her achievements stand as a testament to dedication, family support, and the rising sporting spirit of Arunachal’s youth on international platforms.
