He further informed the participants that there would be strict monitoring from his office to ensure no compromises are made in the education system.

Resource persons from the district headquarters, Mr. Kawang Tekhil and Mr. Ampee Taijong, provided insights into the Parakh Sarvekshan and the CBSE exam pattern. They also discussed strategies to improve performance in the upcoming Parakh Sarvekshan, scheduled for November 2024.

One of the crucial topics addressed was the need to merge schools with low enrolment (less than 10 students) located within a 1 km radius to optimize teacher-student ratios and improve school efficiency.

During the meeting, ZPM Yatdam Miss Kepseng Khunkho emphasized the importance of teachers remaining at their stations during the academic session and fulfilling their responsibilities diligently.

Key resolutions made during the meeting includes:

  • A mandatory 10-minute reading and comprehension session in every class.
  • Proposals to merge smaller primary schools operating within a 1 km radius with nearby middle schools.
  • Introduction of weekly quizzes and multiple-choice exams every Saturday to familiarize students with entrance exam patterns and to aid in syllabus revision.
