AALO, Jan 25: Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Kiren Rijiju today officially launched the T-shirt of “The Trigonometry,” a dynamic youth-led NGO at Aalo, West Siang.
During the event, the Minister lauded the NGO’s commitment to community service and encouraged them to continue their impactful efforts. As part of the event, the NGO highlighted their recent achievement of constructing a new store room for the Government Upper Primary School (GUPS), Angu.
They also brought to the Minister’s attention a public representation made in 2019 during the school’s Golden Jubilee celebration. The representation, submitted to the Minister in 2019, sought the construction of a multi-purpose hall at GUPS, Angu.
The NGO reiterated the need for such a facility, underlining its potential to benefit students and the broader school community. They appealed to the Minister to revisit the proposal and facilitate its realization.
Acknowledging their contribution for the society, Union Minister Rijiju assured the NGO that he would carefully consider the request and explore ways to address their concerns.
