From Kaho to Koteshvar: ABC Riders Embark on 3,500-KM Journey Aims to Showcase Unity & Tourism

ITANAGAR, Jan 18: The Arunachal Bullet Club (ABC) has embarked on a historic journey from Kaho, the easternmost village in India, to Koteshvar in Gujarat’s Rann of Kutch, the country’s westernmost point. This epic 3,500-kilometer ride is part of their mission to introduce and promote the “K2K” riding-tourist route.

The ride was flagged off on January 18, from Kaho by Brigadier Jaspreet Singh of the 16 Bihar Regiment.

Speaking at the event, Vice Chief (Protocol) of ABC Tadar Thomas shared that the team, led by Sanjay Nath, VC (Admin) of ABC, will be joined by additional riders in Itanagar and Shillong under the leadership of Nabam Rana and Chetan Mehra.

Techi Tufan, Chief of ABC, revealed that fifty riders from across Arunachal Pradesh have registered for the prestigious 22nd Brotherhood of Bulleteers Motorcycling Consortium (BOBMC) Rider Mania in Gujarat, scheduled from January 31 to February 2, 2025. “The riders will cover 3,500 kilometers over 15 days, highlighting our club’s commitment to promoting tourism, unity, and diversity,” Tufan stated.

ABC, which has been representing Arunachal Pradesh at Rider Mania for six consecutive years, continues to act as silent ambassadors for tourism and cultural unity.

During the flag-off event, Tanung Jamoh, Moderator of the Federation of Arunachal Riders (FAR)—a body uniting nine motorcycling clubs in the state—shared their ambitious vision to host the 23rd BOBMC Rider Mania in Arunachal Pradesh in 2026. “This event will attract over 5,000 participants from around the globe, showcasing the state’s unmatched beauty and culture while boosting tourism, media visibility, and the local economy,” he remarked.

Adding a significant milestone, Rakhe Agam, widely known as the “Iron Lady” amongst the riding fraternity, announced the participation of eleven women riders, including a few pillion riders. As the Coordinator of Lady Riders of ABC, she expressed pride in their historic involvement. “This ride, with its record number of lady participants, is a testament to the growing inclusivity in motorcycling,” Agam noted.
