NAHARLAGUN, Jan 22: The State Health Agency (SHA), under the Chief Minister Arogya Arunachal Society, in partnership with the Nyishi Baptist Church Council (NBCC), organized a successful enrollment drive at the NBCC Compound, Naharlagun, on January 22.

The event aimed to register eligible individuals under the Chief Minister Arogya Arunachal Yojana (CMAAY) and Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY), two flagship health assurance schemes providing financial protection against medical expenses.
The drive saw enthusiastic participation from the community, with numerous individuals and families successfully enrolled in the schemes. The registration process was efficiently handled by a dedicated team from the SHA, ensuring a seamless and hassle-free experience for the beneficiaries.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Nabam Peter, CEO -State Health Agency, expressed his gratitude to NBCC for their support in reaching the community. “This collaboration is a crucial step toward achieving universal health coverage for the people of Arunachal Pradesh. Our commitment remains steadfast in ensuring that quality healthcare is accessible to all,” he remarked.

Rev. Dr. Tagang Gelo, General Secretary of NBCC, also extended his appreciation to SHA for organizing the drive and emphasized the importance of such partnerships in increasing awareness about health schemes. “These efforts are vital in ensuring that more people benefit from government initiatives aimed at improving public health,” he said.

The CMAAY and AB PM-JAY schemes offer comprehensive health assurance, empowering families with financial security during medical emergencies. This drive is part of the State Health Agency’s continuous efforts to expand the reach of these schemes, ensuring that healthcare benefits are accessible even in the remotest corners of the state,stated a release.
